I was born in the foothills of North Ogden, and spent my early days exploring the unlimited open space below Ben Lomond Peak with my brother and friends. I continue to enjoy all aspects of Utah’s outdoors and breathtaking scenery.
My schooling took place in Northern Utah, where I developed a passion for construction and design. Employment at a prefabrication home building company during school taught me the basics of home construction and framework. I pursued commercial steel building and residential construction both in high school, and early in my professional career.
I had a wonderful opportunity in sales, which lead me on a new course. Retail sales fit me well, and I accelerated rapidly with a local company. I earned top sales agent year over year as I advanced in the company. The latter part of my retail sales career was spent in management, marketing, and growth of the company.
In 2001 I met my wife, and within a few years we started a family. My sales management job demanded 60-70 hours a week, with little time to spend with my girls. In 2004, I merged my construction and sales experience, and earned my Associate Broker’s license in real estate. It was an amazing fit for me.
My background in construction lends me insight that is crucial in evaluating properties, avoiding pitfalls, and reducing expense. This has proven to be very helpful while representing buyers and sellers.
Over 16 years in Real Estate has given me the opportunity to enjoy many achievements and awards, including:
Leading Edge Society
Certified REO & Short Sale Specialist
Member of NAR ( National Association of Realtors), WFR (Wasatch Front MLS), and Washington County MLS (St George)
Top 10 in sales performance year over year at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices
